Eric Breaks His Heel

Eric jumped off our porch into what he thought was a big snow drift. Little did he know, our flower bed rocks had fallen over and were underneath the snow. He shattered his right heel and had to have surgery. His surgery went well, 1 plate & 8 pins, and he can't walk for at least 2 months. Thankfully his mother is coming to stay with him for the next week so I can go back to work, as he'll be on bedrest. Life just got a little more interesting at the Stephens household. :)

Blizzard of 2011

We had over 2 feet of snow in the span of 2 weeks! The first round was around 15" in one day, then we got hit again a little later. Keller helped we work from home by sitting with me at the desk and trying to upplug the computer monitors, and the dogs got nice and cozy inside. Ripley liked to run out in the snow, but we couldn't even get Emerie to go outside to use the bathroom. By the end of an entire week at home, we were all ready to get back into the swing of things!

Great Grandma Bonnie Turns 85

Keller's Great Grandma Bonnie turned 85 on January 11th. We all went over to her house and had lunch and birthday cake. She brought out some toys I played with when I was young. He was especially fond of Winnie the Pooh!
